Twilight Dirge

Many friends were lost in the ambush, countless more injured, and others scarred for life, both physically and mentally. For the destruction the two Exterminators wrought they have been put down, their lives forfeit by order of the chief. Never have we seen such evil in the hearts of dragons. It had to be done.

In the wake of devastation we came together to decide the fate of the Exterminator eggs. Should we leave them here undisturbed, they too may one day hatch and soak the lands in the blood of innocents. Despite this, the chief has hope the eggs can be saved. Should they prove capable of goodness before hatching, he will spare their lives.

Though most eggs seem too far gone, overtaken by their own hatred, we may still be able to teach some the ways of compassion. Failure is a risk we must all take as friends of dragons.
