Onestly, I have to say that I really like this picture, even if there are a lot of mistakes in it.

Good job approaching a different style. I notice anime keeps a lot of people from developing their own style.
Also, good on playing with lighting. It would be more effective to use a more orange and warm lighting than the sort of blue hue you have on everything. I mean on the surfaces being lit up by the candle, of course.

I've started as an "anime artist", but I'm trying to develop a more personal and, maybe, original art style.

I'm beginning to think that I really need to learn color teory, since I always shade with really bright colors and mostly with a blue-purple hue, but I haven't been able to find any good tutorials.
