If it would be alright with you. I would love to feature this and any other Tigra depiction you have in a video montage dedicated to Anthro Tigers and "Tigra". If yes your screen name, or names if more then one is involved, will be in the credits and there will be a link back to your DA page or whatever page you'd prefer in the description. Please let me know when you can respond to this request.

This is the completed video here [link] . Sorry that your name or a link to your site are in the description. The sites recent format change does not allow both in the description anymore when typing in the in by what they call illegal characters.

I'd say that Tigra is a very underrated character.

Thanks and Tigra is a very underrated and underused Marvel character right now.

Well, I think her character could have been popular as much as She-Hulk for example.

Beautiful rendition of her, though.

I've a small question about the kind of texture you used to make her:
Is that daz3d wildcats for the body and another vendor face modified in colors/light to match the body color?

hotrod5 In reply to ExGemini [2009-05-07 22:22:55 +0000 UTC]
That's exactly what it is. I had to modify both the Wildcats and face textures with Photoshop. If you have Photoshop, I can tell what to do. It's surprising easy to do.

Sure thanks. Even with a tutorial I don't think I can reach the same result but the general idea will put me in a good direction I guess

It was a lot of trial and error making the texture so I hope you get some good results. In Photoshop, add a new layer above the texture. Set the blend mode of the layer to Overlay. Now fill the layer to get Tigra's skin colour the way you want it (trial and error with this part). The colour I used for the fill was R:147 G:89 B:47

Bendis is unpredictable so I don't know what kind of impact the Scarlet Witch's return will make.

Thanks. It took some time to get her the skin colour on her face and her fur colour to match since they were textures from different models.

Awesome Tigra Hotrod, sheβs been an under used character for the last several years I think, sheβs not really been part of anything since her days in the West Coast Avengers Comic several years agoβ¦

Tigra is very under used that I didn't know what to write about her in Artist's Comment section for this pic.

I dunno, she's at least had some moderate play, lately, though much if it wasn't too good. She was pegged as a traitor to the anti-reg side during Civil War, and was later seen getting ready to have some fun with (skrull) Yellowjacket. Currently, she's in the Initiative book and may be pregnant with said Skrull's child.
She's mostly notable because her character was created as one of the first female characters to star in her own superhero book, "The Cat" (Like Luke Cage.)

I started reading comic books about 4 years ago, so I guess I missed the boat with the comics with Tigra. Also, Tigra did beat Ms. Marvel when she was under control by the Puppet Master in a Ms. Marvel book in 07 or 08.

I was mostly introduced to Tigra through the miniseries she had...well, that would have been about six or so years ago now. It was about her becoming a police officer (which explains why she was pro-reg, mind you). Also introduced me to Mike Deodato, who's one of my favorite artists.
