Take a good look, he only has 1 bat wing. The other one is a normal pegasus wing.

My OC becomes the 5th member of Luna's personal guard and the 6th in being recruited. The prior 5th member had died in an attack against Canterlot.

All of Luna's personal guards are vampires (I associate the batponies as vampires due to how they look and the batwings). There are always a total of 5, and the captain is their matriarch.

By the way, a very good story you have for your OC!!! However, I just saw only two of Bat Pony who carried Luna "bat mobile" in Luna Eclipse, and I think that just Luna cast some soft of spell on them to made them look "fit" with the Luna Style!!! Didn't know that there are another race of pony, bat pony!!!

Yeah well, personal headcanon and stuff. My headcanon for batponies was way before the recent "canon" for the new race. Not gonna change that just to fit the main canon.

After all there is a special tag called "AU" for this kind of stuff.
