Description
They are fairies of an ancient Reevesia pubescens. For endless years they lived in a cave, longing for the outside world.i searched several photos of stalactites. They are never the same as what i thought they would be like before.
The final work isn't satisfying but i'm tired of this piece.
Reference photos(of myself) are used.

Anyways, I love the colors and the overall feel to this painting!

The trick is pretty easy but requires patience. I finished the clothes without pattern first. Add a new layer, use a colour easy to distinguish to draw the decoration pattern. Make a selection of the new layer, go back to the clothes layer and use curve tool to lighten or darken the pattern. I can make a tutorial if you want.

Ah, I see! It makes sense, I need to try it out. You should try and make a tutorial about how to color digitally, I'm sure it'd be great.
