Description
I look around the room, and take in everything. The lights, the sounds, and mirror that couldn't possibly be a mirror and I wave at it, letting them know I know they're back there. I scoot the metal chair back, bringing my boots up and letting them clunk on the table and I lean back so the chair is resting on 2 legs and I fiddle with my iPod, scrolling through my library and pick American Idiot by Greenday. I pull up the hood of my sleeveless hoodie, and I stare at the ground, wondering what they could possible want with me. The door opens. I keep my stare on the ground, hearing the feet clunk and I assume it's a guy. Not the same guy who brought me in-no, this man held himself differently. Higher, almost.
"I'm Special Agent Gibbs." He started. I bit the inside of my cheek. "Nice tattoo." He points to his neck. I mumble as I cover up the feather tattoo with my hand. "Do you know why your here?" I stiffen. I let out a breath. Let the silence linger.
"Do you unders-"
"No."
"What?"
"No I don't know why I'm here."
"Well, (M/N), you witnessed a murder and you may be the only person who saw the man." I look up at him and see a light shine behind the mirror, miniscule.
"Can you tell whoever's behind the glass to stop moving? It's distracted." Gibbs smiled with the corner of his mouth.
"DiNozzo. Stand still." I see the shine stop moving.
"Thank you."
"How'd you know he was there?"
"Because the light kept moving. It easily could have been mistaken for lights on a normal mirror."
"Not your first time in one of these rooms?"
"No." He nodded.
"Do you remember the man." I shook my head.
"I told whoever handcuffed me and gave me this-" I pointed to the gash above my eye "That I didn't know he killed anyone so I didn't take a good look at him. But his car was a prius. DVG 193 license plate." Gibbs smiled again, like he was proud of me.
"Who taught you do be so aware of your surroundings."
"My dad. He was a sniper in the Marine Corp, sir." I saw his face soften and somehow knew he was too. I kicked my feet down and sat up straight. "Semper Fi." He gave a soft, reminiscing smile.
"Semper Fi." He stacked the papers together stood. "I'm going to have Abby watch you. You'll get along with her just fine." I stood and followed him, stuffing my hands in my pocket. We walked to an elevator and he pressed a button, and I saw the man who gave me a gash in my forehead come out of the room and I gave a sly smile as the door closed.

"Abby." Gibbs called as we walked into the room.
"Yes sir!" She stood at attention and saluted him.
"This is (M/N), and he's gonna be hanging around here until we can let him go." I look to the ground, my bangs falling in my eyes. Abby smiled. She stuck out her hand.
"Hi (M/N)." I shook my head and clutched my hands into fists.
"He doesn't talk much, Abs. Don't take it personally." Gibbs left and I looked at him with concerned eyes and he just smiled and walked away.
"Nice tattoos!" Abby chimed. I smiled and looked up at her, seeing how she was much like me. More expressive, but like me.
"Do you...uh...can we play music?" I asked quietly. Her whole face lite up, and she clapped her hands, making me jump.
"Yeah!!! What do you like?" I twiddle my fingers.
"Do you have any Pantera?" She smiled.
"Of course I do!! I'm going to show you everything! Well..not everything, but you get the idea. I'll show you how things work." She rambled. I smiled slightly.
A while passed, and a guy she called McGee walked in. He started typing some code into the computer as I twisted a Rubix Cube around.
"You did it wrong." I said, looking at him from under my hair.
"What?"
"It should be a meta, not a command." I corrected. He looked back at what he had just typed. He pressed delete and started again. Abby smiled proudly, placing a hand on my shoulder.
"I just may keep you around kid." I smiled at her, handing her the finished Rubix Cube.
"Gibbs may want you back, too."
"Hey Abby-" I looked around and scooted back subconsciously. He froze in his tracks, looking at me up and down. He walked up to me and kneeled down, taking my chin in his hands and tilted my head from side to side. I slapped his hand away.
"Don't touch me." I mumbled.
"Hey-I didn't mean for it to be that bad-"
"You smashed my face into a corner of a brick building how could it have been planned to be "that bad???" I question.
"Because you were resisting so I was trying-"
"Wouldn't you resist if there was a strange man putting handcuffs on you without telling you anything? I needed 6 stitches because of you." I crossed my arms over my chest and he laughed nervously.
"Maybe we got off on the wrong foot.." I stood, looking at him in the eye before walking into Abby's office and sitting down in the corner rocking back and forth. I heard some yelling before I heard the door hiss open and McGee was walking over before he sat down.
"Tony..uhh..sometimes thinks he can do no wrong, or he can't do anything he can't fix."
"Well he can't fix my eye." McGee laughed.
"Well, yeah. That's true." I heard someone slam their hand on the table and it brought a sudden flashback to the man. I stood up.
"Abby! I just remembered something!" She turned on her heels. "The man. He was wearing a Coast Guard uniform." She smiled and hugged me.
"Perfect!" She let go and smiled at me. "Gibbs will be so happy!" I glared at Tony, and sat back down, waiting to be let out so I could go home.
