I rather would not translate this song, but for those not speaking german I did it though. I know its bad and some of you might have done it better, but I guess its just for the understanding, so forgive me

Nice work hun
Just a few minor details I'd fix up. How the texturing that overlays the skins doesn't stop between the nose and the bridge of the nose. Notice how it looks more like a curtain of texture hanging in front of her face, rather than being texture imbedded into the skin. To get a more effective texture quality on the face, I'd stop and restart the texture where there is space between. I don't think there's any other places but the nose. You can tell how there is much depth between the face and the bottom of the nose showing. But the texture just continues between. You can notice it most where that crack is on the left side. The crack wouldn't continue in such a way to look like a straight line. Kinda urksome >_<
Also the mouth that had been removed. The place still has dark odd shape over it when when you removed it out of there. I'd continue patching it over untill you get a more solid coloring. Or just burn/dodge it up untill it's more continuous light instead of a random dark splodge there
one more thing, The main cracks on the face need to show some depth inside, so you can tell it's cracked. I'd put the original photo on top of it, then erase all but the inside of the crack to keep the darkness of it, rather than having that extra texture on top of it, making it seem flat.
I should just write a text tutorial for manip tips (: Even though most people here have been doing them much longer than I have >_<
But yeah, it's an awesome piece

finally something to work with. thank you tons for the effort. I really appreciate this. it is too easy to say "i like it" or whatver.
I see my weak point from nose upwards, yeah. Actually I was done using the technique you described in your tutorial. I always used a different one and was glad to see another solution and to check it out. So, nose, mouth and some other things were gone, but it was just not finished and when I have such a feeling I usually take one of your textures to give it the final hit. I started something which is maybe in some eyes a bad habbit but I quit on a picture when I start to puzzle around with certain areas because they do not look "real" and leave them as they are. I also love the random effects a texture does and with that accept also weak points in the whole picture, like the eye parts on this, which i extremely dislike for example.
The reason for the texture were the bumbs it created and actually it did fine things to the rest as well. I cut out some cracks, as I more wanted it to look as if it is not implented into the skin but more lying on it on the way to slide down maybe. so deep cracks were not my intention.
the mouth was totaly clean btw.

Without the accompany'ing words, this looks like someone whose body slowly became a prison, preventing any feelings to reach her.
The lyrics on the other hand hint at a person who was once hurt and keeps her feelings to herself, burying them deep inside and becoming numb to the world around her.
Very disturbing, but also very touching...

I think SWG has played itself out now, my friends are all but gone and it looks like EverQuest will be where everyone will be, Im still not sure, but will decide in the New Year.
I miss those times as well, and I do miss you. I dont know what made me think of you yesterday but I felt happy to see your work- felt like I held a little bit of you for a moment
