It was a beautiful sunny winter day yesterday, so I took advantage of it, and wandered downtown on the relatively quiet Christmas streets. I had been looking up at the tops of buildings, when I glanced down to see this wonderful low wall. 
I did take a number of texture photos as well, to use later as layers for a project I have been contemplating, but several of them made nice abstracts as well.

My christmas walk with the lenses was today - two pictures already uploaded - the canoe thing, well, just because of an discussion here about an earlier picture.

I'm glad I postponed the movie marathon, and was outside yesterday for the beautiful day of sun, because today it is back to grey, no sky to be seen. The sun must have been nature's way of celebrating the day. The wall was there to open my eyes to things I had not noticed before.
