I have a great pyr. and Kuma was a great dog at first. And I got him when he was 3wks old and he was my baby. I got up every two hrs. to feed him. And than at he got older my ex. was tring to make him a very bad dog, Putting his hands on his neck and hitting Kuma. Kuma started to turn on my daughter and son and my father. And my father got the worst of it. He need to go to the hospital but he didn't go he just patch him self up. My father almost shot him when Kuma turned on me and I was so broken hearted because the told me I needed to put him down and I told my ex. two yrs. before that we needed to do something about Kuma and all he said was change the vet. And so we did and I told her what he had did and when I told her what happen all of it. And she said that since Kuma turned on me that he was to far gone. So I had to do what I didn't want to do Kuna was my life and my baby. I did what ever mother would do and I stay with Kuma and I watch him past to heaven and it killed me because I lost a baby. I'm crying now it still kills me when I think of Kuma. Please don't tell me I did something wrong Kuma was bigger than me and when he turned on me he was going for my neck. That is how bad my ex. made him. And it was just in some so time he was going to turn on my ex. I could make Kuma just to the point of turning on him and my ex. made me do it. So that Kuma would do it if someone came in our home. And it does work. But Kuma was getting to the point were he want to turn on my ex. But like I said he did to me first. So I had to do it. So please again do say anything to me. I have to live with it and I did try to safe him.

Ahh, seems Epilepsy is common in the larger breeds. But she is beautiful, they both are. I almost adopted a Great Py, but ended up adopting a dog due for euathanazia that day.

Oh, yes. I love big dogs that have the copacity to be gentle natured. (: I often see though, that smaller dogs are the hyperest and the larger breeds are calmer.

yeah this is very true, we got a st bernard over the summer but she is still extremely hyper probably cause shes still a puppy, and a huge one at that.. were still waiting for her to finally calm it down

hahaha thats funny, yeah the st bernard swam during the summer when she was a puppy it was the cutest thing. and yessss we have that part down, they dont jump up on anyone anymore phew! mars, the one with the one blue eye, used to do that a lot and its actually pretty painful..

I know all about painful. My son's pitbull, Susie, is really hyper like that and will jump on me. She has left bruises on me several times. She doesn't mean to. She is a really sweet dog, just really happy to see me when I walk into the room, lol.
