Finally ... after how many months .. (checks his gallery) .. hmm almost 2 years .. i was able to start posting the story the i made for my Naruto OCs that i used back then in 2008 for an OC tournament by

I grew to like the characters so much that i wanted to give them a full story with proper closure .. and at the same time be my first actual comic that's not meant for an OC battle/tournament or marred by deadlines.

As for Naruto itself (the manga/anime) ... i do admit my passion for the show isn't as it used to be back then .. i dropped watching the anime because of the constant fillers and slow pace and opted to keep up with the manga (which is great), actually .. the manga right now is going through a very important arc for me since it will tie my short story with some important event in the mythos of Naruto.

I really want to salute Masashi Kishimoto not for the plot of the manga or the characters as much as it is for creating a very complex, detailed and interesting world ... one that inspired me to make this little story/comic .. so that might as well be my tribute to Kishimoto's work.

Sigh .. sorry for the long introduction, but i know there isn't much to "read" in this entry (it's a cover after all) ... but either way .. here is something to feast on (a short FAQ) until i post the first few pages tomorrow three months later. XD

What is Broken Bonds?
Broken bonds is a short story in comic format by yours truly that covers the story of my three Naruto original charactes.

Is it canonical?
Officially it isn't since it wasn't made by Mr.Kishi or approved by him, but that doesn't mean it will shatter the mythos of Naruto, i did all that i can to make sure it would fit as much as possible with the actual events of Naruto, all the events that has been seen in the original story and all the characters from the original story are intact and unchanged and any events that i will add through my story can be listed under (it happened but you weren't looking in that direction XD)

How long is it going to be?
Not currently sure, i have the full story in my head but i haven't drawn or written the full story on paper, so it could take from 8 chapter to 12 or more ... not yet sure really.

Are any Naruto characters going to show up?
Indeed, some will make fleeting cameos or will be mentioned and a couple will play pivotal supporting roles in my story arc.

Why is not in color?
I'm afraid that's just too much work for me and it would take forever to complete (not to mention it isn't meant to be commercial), but that doesn't mean it will be sketchy or crappy, i will try to maintain a consistent good quality and presentation .. and it will be shaded in Grayscale like the cover here .. before you feel bad about this .. if i happen to like a scene or readers (if there is going to be any .. yeah .. pessimistic mode ON) demand a specific scene they liked i can redraw and do it in full color ... but it probably won't happen often XD

How much have changed from the previous OC tournament events two years ago? i mean here --> [link]
I'm afraid to say it but a lot have changed, and while the tournament outlines might stay intact all the events that happened there are not going to appear here and aren't related to the actual story i'm working on, so don't bother if you don't want to get confused, the characters are mostly the same from back then but what will happen is completely different.
