BAMF Gogumajiosu from MH4U.English name hasn't been released yet as far as I'm concerned.

His english name is Gogmazios, and I added the dragonator on his back.

This guy is a great Final Boss IMO.
He is very strong, but also slow, giving you time to heal.
Lotsa health, Laser Beam o' Fiery Death...He is tough, but there is one thing that makes it all worthwhile:
The sweet satisfaction of ramming the fallen Dragonator up his @$$ and then firing the Demolisher on his face shortly after....

I actually haven't played much end-game mh4u, although I fought Gog maybe twice. Also, OUCH to the spike ramming.. XD

Today marks the day I finally found a capable team to defeat him twice, both for me and another dude in the hall.
I made myself in charge of the cannon and the Demolisher, jumping down ocasionally to land level 3 GS strikes on that thing when he got knocked down.
The most satisfying part was when he started flying, I was on my way to the Demolisher and blew him out of the sky. That was so much fun to hit him at that point.

He is one of my favorite fights, he takes everything good with dahren mohran and removes all the scripted events (not that i dont like the dahren mohran, i just think gogmazios fight is better)

I kinda feel bad for Gog. The gogmazios species hibernate for many years only to wake up, feed on some sulfur then go back to sleep. That's why he was at the battle quarters because he wanted food and we had a ton of gunpowder and what do we do? Kill him.

Probably the closest that the Monster Hunter franchise will ever come to having an undead monster... That "oil"? Blood turns black when it become necrotic...

It's far from undead. It just has a diet rich in sulfur, that's why he attacks the battle quarters, he just a wanted a snack. Capcom even explained his whole deal a while back with the oil and the death Lasers.

I drew this back when there were very limited amount of screenshots on the monster so I didn't realize he had a spike on his back. However, I did update it and added the dragonator coming out of his back! Can't wait to play MH4U!

It's the single best thing about this monster; the fact that it took a dragonator through the torso and just continued like "Nah, I'm good. Just a splinter."

From what I've seen so far his fight is pretty fun and interesting. I can't wait to have a go at him myself. I love that you can use the Dragonator that was in him after it has fallen out. One thing I'm curious about is his relation to Goa and Shagura, since he has the same body type, similar movements and stuff. I bet he's like an elder Shagura that somehow got caught up in oil or something. Sorta like Brachy with his blast spores on his pounders to make explosive slime with the combination of his saliva.
