Black Adam ,in the original CapMarv continuity was the first CapMarv, but Shazam banished him to the end of the universe, and he took thousands of years to fly back. He was, ironically defeated, by - Uncle Marvel the con man !
After Crisis on InfEarths, he was banished to a hostile dimension by Shazam, but when Sivana brought him back, he was defeated, sent back, by Billy Batson. HE never returned.
After Zero Hour, he died in ancient times - period ! But a modern descendant assumed the mantle of Black Adam, and is an anti-Hero trying to do good. Maybe I mix things up.
