Description It's Tajina (Tajii)! This is my entry for 's Tajii Contest!

This was a lot harder than I thought it would be! I haven't drawn an anime piece since January so I was a bit out of my element. The piece made me realize I didn't to do even amounts of both anime and realism in the future.

I really enjoyed doing this piece though, I love working with colors and Tajina is the color queen! It was fun to basically use all of my pencils for this piece. I especially loved drawing her costume and her hair is so much fun too!

It's just more tedious that graphite because you can't erase it.

Probably, I have a lot trouble with it. Maybe it's the bristol I use or the colored pencils I use.

I don't erase when I use coloured pencils because it's hard to and it doesn't erase well. I'm just careful.

This looks very happy.
Just a lttle note: you forgot the shading on the skirt .

I like the rainbow theme with the clouds...like in one of my pieces!

I usually use pictures or other kind of references but for some reason it doesn't translate as well as I'd like to, it's definitely something to work on.

I used to be quite bad at anatomy and I believe I've improved quite a lot, reference and practice is the key!

Yeah, I go through these stages where I don't draw full bodies as much I as used to so I'm sort of stagnating. I'll have to do more sketching I think.
