This one and the Katakana one has helped me so damn much now that i am trying to play Pokémon in Japanese while learning what these "symbols" all stand for. I figure that if i manage to learn the symbols, the actual language part of it will be a breeze in comparison, lol. (Not gonna touch Kanji and such though. I mean, come on.)

So if there is a smaller character next to a larger one, it means that the vowel is removed from the larger one and the consonant is removed from the smaller one and they combine?
Like The character for 'Cha' = 'Chi+Ya' ?
Anyway thank you so much for the chart! It's really helpful and I made flash cards from it XD

Do Japanese write in both Hiragana and Katakana? Or do you choose? :/ I kinda want to learn both though..

they use a combination of three alphabets. Hiragana, Katakana, and Kanji (which is based off of chinese)

yeah.. but if you think of it, we use three "alphabets" too... Upper case, lower case, and cursive. so there should be no problem learning kanji...

Thanks ^^
Actually "to make 'ja' and other ones" it was quit simple... but it was done in Illustrator and there were a lot of objects... it took about a day for me to complete one chart XD
