It took me forever to finish this art trade 
and I'm so sorry about that! I had to readraw everything once again cause I'm such a 
and I couldn't do shading rigt

Co do tła to mam takie samo zdanie. Pomaluję zielonym to ładnie się będzie komponować! Kurczaki, jakoś mdło, to dodam jeszcze może żólty? Znowu marnie, to dam jeszcze niebieski, żeby się odznaczało! nie idź tym tokiem myślenia NIGDY!

Wybór kolorów nie jest zły, tylko ich rozmieszczenie. Może większym pędzlem i mniej przypadkowo maźnięte wyglądałoby lepiej. o: Ale to nic, postać nadrabia!

This mane and tail have been the exact color that I've been trying to pull off with one of my own horses... How'd you get it to look so incredible?!

To be honest I still don't know 
But I always use watercolour pencils before I start adding some colours or shadows. Thanks to it, everything looks more smooth

Alright, I'll keep that in mind. I'm trying to figure out how I can do that digitally... If I could figure that out, I could conquer the world improve my art so, so much!

There's this nice way of blending colours! Let me find a tutorial... I couldn't filnd it now, but it's out there somewhere
Anyway, it's like that. You choose a base colour and a shading color and by using the eyedropper tool and simple brush you mix those colours and thus create nice smooth effect. Of course you have to change brush opacity to about 40%, you'll see which opacity is right for you
