It was a lot sadder and troubling than you think.
We were never together considering he didnt acknowledge me to people so no. I moved away but kept in contact and I talked to him about 4 days ago again ironically.
We'll see what happens. Three years have passed he's in a proper mind set now and I'm moving back there September. He's still one of the most important people to me despite all he did so time will tell I guess.
It's like some drawn out tragic love story, I hope it has a okay ending.

I don't know. He changed. He seems really reserved and I think he feels bad for the past. That or I have to crack his shell all over again and yes I think we can keep our friendship. I won't back off unless he says he doesn't want to be my friend. I'll never go back on my promise to stick by him unless he makes me.
But I think the "more than friends" interest is completely dead.
