I'm so so glad I got to be a part of the art trade by This was super fun, and I made a great new friend, my partner <33 Thanks a lot for holding this event!!They asked for Suga catching fireflies~ (honestly the most adorable request I've probably ever received) Hope this is okie and what you had in mind!! Once again, so so sorry it took me this long.
Anyways, I had a ton of fun drawing this because it was so challenging for me. First of many things~ I've never drawn in nighttime shading before (I know that still needs some work tbh), glowy objects like the fireflies, glass, GRASS, and I can't remember the last time I drew an actual background with actual scenery. Sorry if any of those things look wonky. I'm learning :3
(also the file is super large so sorry if the quality of this post is weird. ill try my best to fix it afterwards if so .-.)

oMFG well I mean who knows if I'd even realize they're fairies its very possible I could just be like "Thats a vibrant firefly. nice. -sips tea and walks away-" from the window or something who knows. I'd regret that tho. unless it was a nasty fairy that liked to yell at people.
(...oH MY GOSH THAT TOOK ME A MINUTE. But I always thought something happened to the fairies after they revived you like they died or napped for a year or something)

omFG I like bugs, personally. But I mean unless I can tell its something out of the ordinary from afar I probably wont know to go look at it. Like, if there's a bear in my back yard? I'd stare from my window for a while. maybe be so daring as to go stand in front of the door near it and see if it sees me out of stupid curiosity, but yeah I'd probably have a hard time knowing if there were fairies in my yard.
(omfg hAHA yeah that's very possible too idk. that would make the respawning thing make sense. Like, maybe they use up too much magic so they lose their glow and need to chill for a while but then they can come back later?? thats a nicer way to think of it.)
