I really like mantises. Their eyes give them a permanent look of surprise and intrigue, which is entertaining. They also just look so epic compared to the bugs I see in the Pacific Northwest. I just wish I saw them more often...Done with pen and ink, watercolor pencils and a few digital touch-ups.
