The grave was that of Artorias, one of Gwyn's four knights, and a friend of the forest. Sif, one of his closest friends, took it on him to protect his grave from looters and those who would defile it.
But alas, the journey cannot continue without understanding his covenant...

1. Join the Forest Hunter covenant
2. Procede to gain rank up covenant (killing invaders of the forest)
3. When given the mission from the leader of the covenat to kill Sif, go there fight him, then spare him after the fight.
-Doesn't really do much and you break the cov's rules.
