Description
Ethel was created to fill a request where a demon converts someone using a mask. I got creative with the idea of a succubus who could hypnotize others by using a siren song and that led to Ethel's look as a sort of demon pop-singer. The idea managed to stick and Ethel would go on to make more appearances in more of my stuff. She used to wear a masquerade mask as part of her look, but when I was remaking her code, I decided to get rid of it in favor of a pair of glasses. Ethel's succubus status mixed with her hypnotic song do lead to a lot of possibilities for pics and comics, and it even gave me the inspiration to make her Halloween comic, "Succubus Song", a musical twist! Enjoy!

Personality: Flirtatious, impish, bubbly when in the middle of a song, reclusive in some ways (tends to not leave her forest home) and sometimes shy in situations she's unfamiliar with.

Likes: Music, singing, entrancing others with her song, a small chill in the night air, applause, pink clothes, and playing around.

Dislikes: Booing, polka music, being embarrassed, wardrobe malfunctions, outfits that aren't revealing enough, witches, mages, and awkward situations.

Background:Ethel was born as the daughter of a Succubus and a Siren. Because of her heritage, Ethel was granted the abilities of a succubus with a siren song that entranced anyone that hears it. Like all succubi do, Ethel went out into the world and entranced those who she wished to feed off of, using her hypnotic singing to do so. Thanks to her song she was able to prey on much more than the average succubus. Eventually the Mage Society would see her power as a threat and would try to capture her. After hunting her for many years, the Mage Society struck a deal with Ethel, if she kept her captives under a certain limit and keep them unharmed they would stay out of her way. Ethel agreed to these terms and resigned herself to the enchanted forest she lived in. Her song would reach out to whoever stepped foot inside of it and even to those outside the forest too! Ethel stays true to her arrangement with the Mages and only feeds off a certain amount of people, and then sends them home unharmed when she's done. Witches do not respect this arrangement, and since succubus are often targeted for potion ingredients (as well as the fact that Ethel is a rare breed being part siren), they occasionally try and capture her, but Ethel tends to entrance those foolish Witches into leaving her be! Despite her nearly reclusive nature, Ethel actually dreams of one day becoming a famous singer, though she hasn't quite found a way to do it where she doesn't hypnotize others!
