the Emperor himselfcan't stand the test of time
enveloped in his stone-coat
and counting moments pass
he's watching numb and hopeless
his Empire of glass
turn fragile and then shatter
the life of all his people
seem to no longer matter
for life itself is wasted
and souls feel like a carcass,
an empty shell, a corpse
the noise of many ears
the signal of a loss
the shallow smile and whisper
the fake in every step
have made his eyes turn bitter
and eyes see nothing yet
for it is only starting
the knife of time still slashes
decay shall be eternal
his Empire of sand dunes
shall turn to dust and ashes
