I totally fell in love with this guy!!!
This one is for the amazing ~
I tried... But the clothing... How do you do it?!?!?! Even this took like hours! -_- And I didn't use references, so the style isn't accurate for any time period....
But all in all I think my clothing is getting better! I really hated drawing any kind of clothing for a while; that phase is over!

The clothings are a chore and a half to do... And you drew this by hand ?! O.O *bow down* I can't even draw a proper fleur de lys by hand so... several ? The joys of the copy paste o/
Well, I looked to several paintings from young heirs to the crown to design France's cloths ... Because I took a sleeve there, a detail there, a shoe there, and mashed up everything together >.<
I love how you draw France... I just can't draw him manly... like, not at all... he's so young and lithe in my drawings .... OTL

And Merci beaucoup! The thing I was missing most after having drawn so much digitally the last months, was the Undo feature! I was constantly thinking "Oh, I can just hit Undo--- or not" But yes, I also love copy and paste, all the fleurs de lis took ages!
That is a great idea, and now that I think about it, my mom has a whole bookshelf full of historical costumes books! I think I'll have to look through some of those next time!
