Description This Devil-pants-stick-insect have a different technique to survive the dangers of the jungel. They are not only very spiky, but also have the ability to spray a caustic secretion from glands at the prothorax.
In addition it's very huge (21 cm=female, 17 cm=male) and have bright colored rudimentary wings to scare predators.

little beauties like these are fascinating....

I build a lot of worlds for fantasy and sci-fi games I run... People wonder where I get the ideas for some of the critters I populate them with... and all you need to do to find a truly alien looking critter is open up a text book on insects, and arachnids.

Insects are so unbelievable diverse group that it is very hard to design species different than these what lives now on Earth. But this one in fact IS original.
