I been watching bloody anime thos days. Including elfen lied. Thay all have pink hair in the anime but on the manga cover thay donΒ΄t have all thos colours.I just tryed to draw them in those colours.
(I just notist that nana alsow had green eyes, The pic I saw you could not really see it -.-)

If I had to guess, the reason the anime made all their hair color the same was to mark them off to the viewer as Diclonius, even in scenes their horns might not be visible or in view. It's kind of the inverse of what happened on Real Ghostbusters and TMNT 1987 Animated, where they used different colors to mark off the characters. Nice pic, BTW. I haven't read the Elfen Lied manga but the anime's left me wanting more. I like the coloring on the characters here, and Nana's expression captures her personality perfectly. A very cool deviation.
