At my grannyΒ΄s 70th Birthday, the husband of her sister!Already had a long life, but is still running the mountains nearly every day - with only one leg - since years.!
Hope he can do this also in the next few years...

This is such a great portrait. The tones are nice, not too soft, not too hard, and you really get a sense of the subject's personality.

Very nice portrait ! I like your rework on the B/W tones even if (for me) it's a little bit extreme. The whites are too high and the face is a bit too much in the shadow. Mainly there's not enough details on his eyes !
A pity also that the fork on the table is not completely shown or erased.
I'm speaking a lot but I like very much the atmosphere of this portrait ! he looks like an American writer !
