Dang! I did it! I finished it before the day was over. Hope you enjoy this rushed piece.I'm quite happy with it. But Now I'm beat, this is the 3rd piece I made today. I have no ... ehm... I am tired.
Someone pointed out to me that it's actually called Organ To The Outside. But I named it as I did because the pony was called The Pony Of Shadows (I think). So it's a mix of the two.

Vision: Damn! I have to say that your color selection is marvelous. Every point of light has a presence in itself. I really don't have much to say about this, so I'm not going to give you any BS: you did a great job with this.
Originality: The way you drew this up does put a good twist on the image of pinkie playing the organ, and though there was little "original" content to create basing an image off others, you certainly did put something new into it.
Technique: The painted look, and especially the way that the cloak and hood is designed make this stand out. Usually there's some artistic/drawing problem that makes images like this awkward and difficult to look at, but there's nothing here to point out. The angles, shapes, and colors attached to the shapes make it easy to look at.
Impact: reminds me of Emperor's theme from Star Wars. That's the only thing that comes close.

And yes, scrolling down from the top of the organ to the Shadow Pony's eye DID give me the Creeps

The Organ to the Outside is hands down - the best organ in MLP: FIM. I've heard another organ playing at Twilight's coronation (though it wasn't shown), but I really wish they would return this organ to the show. Maybe not a whole episode about it, but at least a cameo or canon, or vector, or screenshot. Because, come to think about it, The Castle of the Two Sisters hasn't appeared in the show since Inspiration Manifestation or some other episode in season 5. Maybe the ponies would build a music hall in Ponyville and move the organ into it. Just an idea

You know, you're like, legit the only artist on Derpibooru I think who's really done anything with the Pony of Shadows, and this is one excellent piece. I guess the real question is if this is Pinkie Pie or the teaser we get at the end of Castle-Mania.

You're one of those Needs-to-offer-prints artists. Β My wall is begging for this.
Oh right, critique. Β well, it looks like you captured the image that was in your head superbly. Β The organ is beautifully laid out, the lighting is not exactly motivated, yet is artistically delicious. Β Creepy eye is creepy. Β Broken wing is broken. Β Darkness is dark. Β The way all of the colors come together here is really nifty and agreeably complementary. Β Guess my only criticism/turn-off is the shadow trailing down the steps, as it doesn't seem bound by the shape of the steps.

The "shadow" trailing down the steps is his/her cloak. And it's a bit smoky. It's both smoke and cloth, kinda.
And about the print. Just save the pic on your computer, then go to a local printing company and have it printed. I don't care about getting any profit from things like that. Not when it's an IP I don't own.

When I saw the real pony of shadows I said to myself "Look who finally desided to show up" the episode would have been a little more instrested if the pony of shadows sceared all of them out of the castle.

I always found those huge organs to be simply impressive and intimidating. Mostly when someone play one, they always give shivers to anyone to hear it.
