Ha, ha, Oh, I once came across an old book of Russian jokes(jokes by russians not about russians) Chapayev is often show as this sort of upper class twit officer of the revolution, along with lots of gags about propaganda.

I think the perspective on the shoulder sling is wrong; given the angle of the gun shouldn't the right one be behind her shoulder and the left one in front?

Sorry if I am being boring, but Anka's story is a bit different. She never fought in WWI and in fact she never even existed. Anka was first introduced in famous 'Chapayev' movie by Vasilyev brothers which was released in 1934 and immediately became a big hit in the USSR. In the movie, Anka joined the Chapayev's regiment during the Russian Civil War and became a machinegunner. She also fell in love with Chapayev's aid Pyotr (Petka). Anka was portrayed by Varvara Myasnikova . Originally, Anka was meant to be a strong and independent woman, a role model for Soviet women. Later on, in 1960-1970s, Anka, Petka and Chapayev became heroes of countless anecdotes (funny stories) which often was quite NSFW. After 1991, their image undergone further change in this direction, especially in computer games.

cool pic but I notice two problems. the unsupported barrel on a full auto gun would make aiming impossible also the maxim machine gun requires 2 tumb buttons to be pushed in order to fire
