A second concept art page for Her Imperial Highness, the Grand Duchess Anastasia Nikolaevna of Russia. She was born in 1901 at Peterhof to the last Tsar and Empress of the Russian Empire. With tresses of strawberry-blonde hair, with bright, blue eyes of great iridescence, she was simplistic, as well as, incredibly kind-hearted. She was also a monkey, creator of practical jokes and very talented at drawing. In 1918, she and her entire family along with several servants who stayed with them (loyal to the end!) and one of the family's pets were brutally murdered in cold blood. She was just 17 years of age.

I really enjoyed doing these concept pages especially because they are more realistic, and even though the scanner is AMAZING the lines are so harsh... the originals of course are always MUCH better. Always.
