Description
Here is the twenty first card of the Tarot's Major Arcana X-Men style. Card #20 is Judgement and the choice of character this time is En Sabah Nur, Apocalypse. The choice of character this time was because Judgement is one of those cards that is fairly literal in its representation. It represents Judgement and Apocalypse feels it is his duty to judge the world in his Darwinian quest to find the fittest. Judgement also represents rebirth and Apocalypse has had several of these himself, while also using his powers to cause this among his elite followers, the Horsemen.

The original figure was the angel Gabriel trumpeting to rising bodies. Apocalypse doesn't trumpet. The trumpet is meant to be inviting and his trumpet in this case is his outstretched hand, reaching for three of his Horsemen to rise. Depicted are War (the veteran, Abraham Kieros), Famine (angry little anorexic girl, Autumn Rolfson), and Pestilence (the Morlock, Plague) as they were originally cast in the pages of the original X-Factor series. The tidal wave is an insurmountable obstacle, the impossibility of avoiding Judgement. Because sooner or later Apocalypse will always rear his head again and start telling everyone that he's going to judge them.
