Graphite and Carbon drawing.This is 14" high and took about 25 hours to complete.
Natalia Vodianova was born in Gorky (Nizhniy Novgorod) and she had a difficult and poor childhood. Her mother's abusive boyfriends troubled her during childhood. At 11, she moved into her own apartment. At 15 she started her own fruit-stall business and enrolled in a modeling academy. She could then help out her sisters, one of whom is disabled.
Natalia has since graced the covers of Vogue and Gucci made her a new face for their perfume line. Now she is in the top 10 earing models.

Wow thats one of the best drawings I have ever seen! However as an earlier posted the eye on the right is slighlty out. I feel that if you move the pupil slightly to the right and round off the outer edge of the eye, that should solve the problem.
But other than that fantastic work

It's nice to get a critical comment. Thanks for that. Over time, I'll keep looking at that eye to see if it needs a tweak. Sometimes, the tiniest little pencil dot can transform an image, so it has to be done right, and I'll need to be able to see and evaluate the result in my mind's eye before doing it.

... am still thinking about this! 1/2 of me likes the controvercy, the other 1/2 wants to tweak it, but the original reference also has something a little strange about that eye, and I've noticed over time in real life that sometimes it really looks like that when people glance over their shoulder in that way.
I guess I need to make a decision before framing it.

have not decided on how I want to draw it and she kept me awake more than half the night meowing back and forth to the kittens and to me. He was no help either, he meowed too.
