One of my favorite exchanges in 'Superman/Batman: Public Enemies' involved a conversation about Magpie.
Superman: "You know who I was thinking about the other day? Magpie."
Batman: "The criminal?
Superman: "Do we know another Magpie? Whatever happened to her?"
Batman: "She died."
Superman: "No! Are you sure?"
Batman: "Reasonably."
Superman:"Why is it the good villains never die?"
Batman: "Clark... what the hell are "good" villains?"
