Description
This is my version of the Lady Shirakawa from Liam Hearn's novels. She is the main female character along with the male character Takeo.
She was held captive by Nogushi for many years of her childhood. She was later used as a "tool" between two families to bring peace between them, she was to marry Shigeru Otori (who adopted Takeo). Neither family actually wanted it and the marriage never took place because of... events...

Anyway. Kaede as a character starts off quite innocent. She knows not much of any of the arts of women because her captive hosts never taught her. She is a beautiful young woman who gets a bad reputation; that any man who desires her dies.
She loves Takeo from first sight, and he loves her.
In the second book her character is stronger and more determined to achive her goals.

I haven't read the entire trilogy yet of the Otori Family. I only have the third part left, people tell me that it's better then the second one and I really hope so. ^^
I really love these books and I hope you read them, if you haven't already.
Unfortunately I can't read the third part right away because I have to read Wuthering Heights for school, which reminds me, I have to start soon... >_<

I hope you like this! I actually coloured this, but decided that it would look better as an "Old Picture," since it's set in a Japanese inspired age of a forgotten past.
It does not say anywhere that Kaede has bangs, I just drew that because it's a fase I'm in at the moment.
