This is, in essence, my friend ~ Usoyami-no-Tsubasa . I'm not sure how to explain her story...but it certainly is dramatic and fascinating.

Suffice to say that she is a princess and this is her in her coronation gown. And it really is a lovely gown. I hope i've done it justice.

Yes, those are extremely stylized curtains. I can't help it. Just...run with it. Observe another one of those windows too. Yes, drawn just about the same time as the others. I'm really happy with the shading on her hair. If the real Neko has issues with the purple in her illustrated eyes, she can take it up with me later.

On a side note, i drew an earlier version of this. It was appalling, but i had drawn it to "The Firebird Suite." I made a point of listening to that piece again while drawing this. It's dramatic and, maybe, royal enough to inspire a little?
