Description Have you ever dreamed a story so great that you lie awake at night for weeks on end thinking about it? Or a plot or character has felt so real to you that you feel like you could reach out and enter that world? Do you lack the literary finesse needed to bring your story to life? Then look no farther!

I'm a professional writer in the process of getting published, with five full-length novels under my belt. I've taken up freelance work to help me along the path of my dream to be published.

What I will do:

Almost any fiction genre. I will also do literary non-fiction.
I will write short stories, not novels. My own novels take up much of my time, so for me to undertake anything longer than a short story is just simply too much.
I will also consider writing poetry, although that's a more touch-and-go subject.
I generally write at a pace of 1000 words per day, however depending on my work load that day, I may be a little faster or a little slower.

What I won't do:

I won't write erotica/porn or anything else along those lines, however I will write romance.
I won't write excessive gore. By this I mean creepytastas or very dark horror. I am up for a good fight scene, and I don't mind blood, but I don't like reading about people getting violently raped/murdered, much less write about it.

Also I will offer up my services as an editor as well. While I'm not a professional editor, I'm a grammar/mistake nazi and I can sniff out inconsistencies pretty well. If you want a cheaper alternative in the world of editing, I can give you a good second opinion. I will edit anything from poetry to short stories to novels. Rest easy: any works that I edit are deleted permanently off my computer after the business is done. I fully respect author's rights and I wouldn't dream of stealing your work.

As for my own rights, I receive credit for any works that I write. I'm not a ghost-writer. You can take credit for all your own plot lines, characters and so forth, but I receive credit for the writing, and this must be posted everywhere this work is shared. Think of me as a co-author instead of a ghost writer. If you later have your story published, my name must appear as a co-author, so anyone who reads the work can find me if they want a story of their own written. After the initial payment for my services, I don't ask for royalties on any profits the short stories make; all I ask for is credit. Please respect this. Also, if you're happy with my work, please spread my name around to all your friends.

Prices:

For any written projects: $0.03 per word

For editorial services: $3.00 per page

All prices are in Canadian Dollars. I only accept payment via paypal.

What will generally happen when you hire me for a job:

You send me all details you have available (for a writing job) or your work that you want edited (for an editing job) in an email. For writing jobs, all information must be in the body of the email and not as an attachment. For editing jobs, send your work as a Microsoft Word Document. If you don't have Word, then I will accept a PDF file format, however it is harder for me to make adjustments. If you prefer, (and if you live in Canada or the U.S.) you can mail me a paper copy of your work. I will make revisions with pen, and mail it back to you. But please be aware that fees for the return shipping will apply.

The next step that will happen is I will begin to work on your project. When I finish writing your story, I will send you a sample. If you are pleased with the sample, I will request payment. Only when I have received confirmed payment will I give you your story/edited work.

The last step is for you to refer your friends and family to me if you're happy with your results! And of course to enjoy the story.

If, for some reason, there is something wrong with the story, I will gladly work with you until you deem it perfect. Once you've confirmed that it's the way you want it however, I can't guarantee that I can change it. In other words, I don't want you telling me that you love it and there's no more work to be done and then changing your mind a week later, requesting that I rewrite the whole thing. I'm a very busy person, and I don't have time to be rewriting things for people who have already told me my job is done.

I greatly look forward to working with you!
