For the morning's state
Little devils know no shame.
Yellow slime sliding down the wall
My, my, don't they have excellent aim?
Hidden during day, but it is past nightfall
And mischief is theirs to lay claim.
White ribbons fill the sky,
Draping over everything in sight.
Normal rules no longer apply
So don't even bother to try and fight.
Perhaps next time you twice.
Maybe will the doorbell rings you'll retreat.
But, if you open the door, head this advice,
Respond carefully to "trick or treat"
