I'm a little confused as to how his Makik works. How come the weapons he can form end up being made of steel, if he has no affinity for the element closest to steel, that being metal.

Daruk's feral colours would totally work if he was a hyena (but he a fox 
But his story is soo sad 
I would imagine he would have turned bitter over his wife getting pregnant with someone else's child.. instead grew bitter because of her death and the birth of someone else's kids....
So his motives are certainly understandable.
I have so many questions but, I think Daruk is earning himself a spot as one of my favourite characters
