Description This was a prop made for a Steampunk version of Link from Legend of Zelda cosplay I did.

Prop was inspired by the Wii Link's Crossbow Training Game.

A steampunk crossbow. Was made using wood, plastic, and metal components composed primarily of shelf hangers, PVC fitting, track pullies for a sliding glass door, and 1 inch white board. Gears and handle are from a stripped Cuisinart.

Crossbow was painted using Krylon Hammered Finish Spray Paint in a combination of brown, brass, and silver.

Holy fuck! Pierce was right this thing was balling. I really wish I'd see it in person mate cause I'd have been prop fanning like mad.

Your Steam Link was kick ass alone, and you add this bad boy to the mix I dare say I'd have fainted.

Thanks! The cosplay loses a bit without the crossbow and hookshot props, but they're kinda cumbersome to carry around. It was great seeing you this past weekend!

No thanks needed mate.
Yeah I know whacha mean; I've had my experience with cumbersome, very heavy, props before when I made those lifesized wooden Oathkeeper and Oblivions of mine. ... Ironically I think I still have those in my closet somewhere >3>;

I know it was great to see you too! When you got in the elevator I was like 'Okay ... this guy's face looks familiar. Where have I seen it cause I KNOW I've seen it.' I was standing back there thinking it then when you mentioned Stein I finally got it. ... Okay mainly cause I visualized a giant screw and a cig in your mouth and went through the whole 'OH YEAH HE WAS THAT KICK ASS MAD MAN LAST YEAR!'.
