can anybody tell me why my this guy isnt awesome????

good.

this was an interesting picture because in the ref, the lighting was so strong that some of him blended into the incredibly white background so i tried replicating that effect but instead of having that effect it just sort of looked unfinished...... so then i filled everything in and left the hair
as-is. it looks SO MUCH BETTER NOW!!!! lol
but, his shirt and other shoulder/arm were hella-blurry... so i had no idea what to go but fill it in as unevenly as i could LOL

i swear his hands KILLED ME! by the time i was done i was almost ready to run, grab a knife, and stab my sketchbook to death!!!! xD
just kidding.
but i was seriously frustrated.

approx time:3 hrs
