Huh. I've heard so much about how it's unenjoyable to others because of how you get stronger. Same with maybe it having such a straight forward story! Though for me it was really cool.

I didn't find it annoying when I overpowered my little party. I guess I found it more sad since they beat themselves up. However I think Firion and Guy became amazing from it! To me even though it had such a straight forward story I just really enjoyed it, the game made me like Firion even more as a character than Dissidia for some reason. The only thing you have to fear about in II are those blood knights with their blood swords. They sap the life out of you the more HP you have, my goodness!

Really nice.
This is the only older FF I have. It was a funny experience playing it because I don't really have old games. I kept leaving it for months and then no longer knew what was going on. Like I seriously don't really remember the plot.

I understand, the plot for II was really straight forward to begin with. It's probably really easy to forget a lot of things in it too unless you've played multiple times. I hardly remember much that I did besides main story plots that were huge.

True. I picked it up again and I just remember almost being amused about how much I forgot. Apparently someone died. I'm not even sure who.

My goodness, I know II has a lot of death since your fourth party character will be inconsistent until the very end of the game, and of course straight forward story. I had that same feeling with Pokemon Mystery Dungeon. It been so long I had no idea what story mission was next or how far in the game I was, just had to restart it. I find it weird on how much progress you could've made in a game and not remember at all!

Haha, I very literally told my siblings, 'Apparently someone died...apparently it was sad.'
I've done the same with Mystery Dungeon before too. When I picked it up again I forgot I'd even erased my previous file. I found myself very confused about why I was suddenly a Bulbasaur.

I can relate most of my Final Fantasy problems with my sibling... Mainly because I easily get confused on anything when it comes to RPGs.
I understand that feel, I remember playing Red Rescue team and having myself be a Skitty one day and then suddenly a Pikachu a different day. Usually in my confusion I would think my sibling took the game and played it, but the name of the character would be the same.
