Maybe you could do a mix of Holon Energy and Holon's Pokémon and fade the symbols into the background? Think something like Holon's Castform and Holon Energy WP combined. For example, you could do a Lotad that can be treated as a Grass+Water Energy. Or maybe the card can be treated as though it already has Energy cards attached to it, but its attacks do so much less damage if you choose to use them.
No idea what the glass symbols could be used for. They look cool alone, but kind of out-of-place on cards. You'd probably have to make a really fancy template reminiscent of Ancient Mew to make them work. Of course, I've not made a Fairy symbol and I no-longer have the files to make more in that style...

I can see the glass ones being used in a Crystal type mechanic revamp. Thinking about using the 3d ones to make some dual type Special Energy. Or maybe a custom card back..

You wouldn't happen to have a PSD for this that you'd be willing to part with would you?
Not trying to steal your work, mind. Actually looking to make similar icons for a smash brothers trading card game for a couple hundred cards on a major website... but have absolutely no skill in photoshop. I'm a visual learner. haha
If not, would you mind giving a quick explanation?

I actually made these in The GIMP (which can be downloaded for free).
Your symbols need to be black with a transparent background. Create a new canvas about 3 times the maximum size of your individual symbols (if your symbols are 100x100, make your new canvas 300x300 and fill it with the color you want your orb to be. Change the width (not height) of your symbols to 50%, then copy and paste them to the larger canvas. Go to Filters - Map - Map Object. Under the Options tag, change "Map To" to Sphere and check the Transparent Background box. Adjust the settings under the other tabs as desired and click the Preview button to see the changes. To add an extra highlight like I did on these, Create another canvas, but fill it with black, then use the same Map Object settings, but change the "Lightsource Type" under the Light tab to Directional Light. Rotate the image 180 degrees, copy it, then paste it onto your previous orb with a Screen blending mode.
I think that covers everything I did.

Thanks! I just now updated the colors slightly. I slightly changed the hue of the center of each symbol, mostly to reduce the green in Lightning and add more green to Dragon. I also lightened the center of Colorless slightly to make it look less like Metal.

You did a great job. These'll be useful for Special Energies and art for trainers.
