How easy are tablets to use? My hands aren't too steady, but I'd love to have a tablet. I'm getting a laptop, and I was thinking of getting a tablet, too. I thought that it *might* make it easier for me to do digital art. Give me opinions and information if you have time! It'll be appreciated, I swear!

tablets are horribly easy to use! Though, cost quite a bit. you can get the cheaper for 100, though its a really small size. id get a 6x8 which is what i have, and run about 200. Its a WACOM. If your serious about art, yeah, id get one.

Well, I do art for fun, only, but yeah, I would like to do a mix of traditional and digital media. Pictures like [link] would look better digitally done, don't you think? I work in a factory, so I know I can afford a nicer tablet. I'm glad that people are saying they're easy to use, since I'm not exactly great with difficult things. Haha.
And yeah, it's gotta be a black eye. o_x

Yeah, you're peices would look great digitally.
Yeah, they are very very simple. Make sure you have a usb port before you buy one though, but most newer computers do. You just plug it in, put in the disk and follow the instructions to install it, and you're done. The pen it comes with acts sort of like a mouse and its wireless. You can use it on any program, or even use the pen as a mouse and surf the net. It comes with good software too.
The reason i got a tablet was for control and the pressure sensitivity. If you're using a program like photoshop, which i highly reccomend, its great when your working with shading and such.
