Newest character. A chinese crested boy (How come most of my characters are male??)For some reason, if he was an anthro/human I imagine him as a young doctor XD idk.
But he's cute and adorable and gives me reason to draw fluffy cute dogs C:

OMG, he is SO ADORABLE I wanna hug him. His personality really comes through...he strikes me as a brainy professor-type. ^w^
I love Cresteds. They don't get enough love and respect. Everyone thinks of them as "those funny-looking little dogs that win all the 'Ugliest Dog' contests." But while many of them do fit the "so ugly they're cute" category, it's a VARIED breed, man. Many others are outrageously gorgeous. They look like little ponies, with their manes and ears and plumed tails and everything. They come in some very, very pretty color combinations, too. Some Cresties are of the slender "deer" variety, and others are of the heavier-set "cobby" variety. In spite of their appearances, they are generally hardy and tough little dogs. Yep, I would definitely get a Crestie...they're one of my favorite toy breeds, along with the Italian Greyhound.

I agree! I love Cresteds, the "ugly" ones are usually mixes anyway, and more than likely Xolo's, not Cresteds!
I don't know much about the Crested's personality but I wouldn't say no to owning one for sure! Though I think it'd be hard for me to remember to put sunscreen on it when heading out!

And that's probably true about the "ugly" dogs, too. I don't really believe in "ugly dogs," since I find them all adorable or beautiful in their own ways.

I just so happened to come across this guy and gosh, I really want to hug him for some reason. I love how his personality is just radiating from this and just from how well you conveyed him, I'm learning alot about who he is and what type of character he is. I also enjoy that he's a Chinese Crested, I was just thinking about doing some concepts for a chinese crested character. Gahh, I just really love this guy, I think it's the fact that I have a soft spot for characters with glasses <333

Oo! The last time I tried to create one of these (Chinese Crested) it turned out looking more horse like BUT that's not the point! The point is: Nice job. I love the breed choice.

You are the only other person I know of that knows what a Chineese crested is. have you ever seen or felt one in real life? They feel soooo differant. The dog \rescue I work rescues Chinesse crested and Xolo's ( Mexican Hiarless) almost exclucively. Forgive my spelling i'm on a laptop.

Thanks! I've never seen or pet a Crested in real life, but I have pet and seen a few Xolo's X3 I love them (though the Xolo's weren't the friendliest guys). That's great that you work at a breed specific rescue

He's adorable. XD And I get the doctor impression too. ... Not sure why. Maybe all that white fur looks sort of like a white coat? The glasses reinforce it.
I think the design of the sheet works really well with the character, too.

A Chinese Crested, now there's a breed you rarely see in cartoon form. Very good design particularly with the Clydesdale-esque hairstyle around his feet. The glasses and scarf add a bit of sophistication, as well.
