I used to not. 

should be doing other stuff but i made this narwhal

dont make him cry

believe 

changed it a bit (this reversion was inspired by another artist);;; filter looks weird idk

i think the old one looks better still tho

But narwhals are real. They used to be hunted for their horns pretty extensively and people hawked them off as unicorn horns.

I didn't think they were real until I watched a documentary about them. xD I thought they were like unicorns. They cut of their horns and callled them unicorn horns?

M'hmm. For a pretty long time, they were hunted down and killed for their horns and people sold their horns as magical unicorn horns. They were not unicorn horns, though. They were just overgrown teeth of a whale. Truth.

It was a long time ago when they were sold. I think it was still around the time people mistook rocks and whales and things for mermaids. (It's been a long time since I actually looked any of this up, so don't quote me on the timing.)

You watched a documentary on narwhals and do not know this? Yeah, their horns are just an overgrown tooth, because narwhals are toothed whales, not baleen whales.
And sometimes, very rarely, narwhals can have TWO horns, instead of just one.
