He reminds me of those Samurai pictures I see in the history books. Somehow the picture doesn't really capture Renji's loud moth, arrogant personality. It seems more like the face of a silent and strict warrior. Still a great picture.

Meta Gear's Character artist would be pleased!

It shares all the things I like about their "Sketchy but well defined" style, yet maybe a bit more on the defined side than their works.
I admit, I don't know much about this "Renji" char, but now I'd wanna learn more just based off the art.

It'd even be cool to see a couple of pics like this from ya, to see how other characters would look in such a style.

That's a pretty wicked sketch. Reminds me of some of the good anime artists from the eighties or Hiroaki Samura. It's rough, but clean, realistic but stylized. It's a fine balance.
