Has anyone seen the beautiful cover illustrations for Chinese video game box art (and some Chinese novels)? Although I feel that this is such a beautiful style I rarely see it used by artists on the net on DA or any at all, and I'm clueless as to why.So here's my new CG trying to use the techniques of that style. This project lasted longer than a month T_T, SO COMPLEX, but its finally over!...Overall I feel that it turned out looking quite good but did not do the style enough justice. My friend said it (still)had a very FF style to my dissapointment.
If anyone thinks she looks familiar its the girl on the right from my last post. I might do one for girl on the left as well for further practice of the style but that might not happen, given how much work goes into one of these. I might not do something so hard for a while (feels overclocked).
If anyone knows a site that has a collection of this styled art please let me know!

Very nice work! I really like the girl and how you've drawn her. There's a certain allure about her that you've captured well. Her somewhat dishevelled bangs are very appealing too.

This mysterious style seems to act as a perfect medium between the anime and realistic styles.
I'm still training to master this type of art.
Though I can see that all that matters to you is finding these artists.
Where exactly have you seen this style before?

You did a very good job on the face, especially the lips. Most of the hair is alright - except that it looks like you rushed on the hair on the back of her head, it's blurry and sharp, and doesn't look natural compared to the rest of the hair on her head. Her right hand could've used some better toning, and something bugs me about the way the wrist is bent.
It must've taken forever to CG the detail on what she's wearing though - I applaud you for that.
