Hehe, guess I should do it like with Emilie Autumn...the music is not really my cup of tea, but I´m def. gonna try to get a photopass for the end of February. Would be really cool to finally photograph this lady everybody is so crazy about.

I tried to get one and it looks like I failed. Emilie tours with Semmel Concerts and they are too cool to answer any emails

I´ll go directly via venue this time, since I know the organiser there...else I guess I´m gonna be denied as well. I really "love" those organisations, who are even too cool to send a "no".
Actually, at least when it comes to that organisation stuff, I´m happy, that I have to cut down on gigs a bit this year.

Yes, me too... Actually right now I'm looking for a job or a freelance job for a music magazine or something like this. I just want to do what I love to do and don't want to pass all these humiliating accreditation process again... Yes, I'm a pretty simple person, but for god's sake I need some respect too

I actually gave up on looking for some freelance job. So far, I didn´t have any success and now I can´t invest that much time in photographing gigs, since I need to concentrate on university...sucks! 
Absolutely agree...
When you at least get some "no" it´s ok, but being totally ignored for whatsoever reasons sucks.
Even worse, when you see pics after the gig...taken by photographers, who did a bad job....argh!

Well I actually have nothing to lose, I'm not happy with my work, all this web-design stuff doesn't give me any happiness. So... I would like to try to get some job I would really enjoy. So far I got no answer for any of my resumes, but who knows...

Might take a while, but maybe you´ll have good luck!
The bad thing only is, that only very few actually earn enough money with that stuff, to make a living with it. But who knows, maybe you can web-design and photography stuff and both together will bring enough money.
Guess once I´m done with university and job stuff is settled (and when I still have enough time then

Actually I would be glad simply to get a job in a photo studio. Some people need an employee who's into this stuff and can process the pictures in Photoshop and Lightroom. I just want to do this, want to be a photograph, that would be cool too.
What exactly did you do to get a freelace work? For the last few days I emailed to all the music magazines in the world

Hm, so far it was all about just dropping a mail and that´s it.
At the webzines it was normally no prob, since I also write reports.
Dunno whether I´d have succeed with "just" photographing.
Especially at the zines they often look for ppl who do both, since there´s
only one (photo)passand no free entry for two ppl at gigs.
At printmags it should of course be different.
And then again...it´s of course the old thing of "depends on who you know"...know the right ppl and you´ll get in. If you don´t, you either won´t succeed or it´ll be harder.
It´s often all about "hey, I know this and that guy, he´s a good photographer, you should check his stuff". Guess they just receive too many mails of people, who are interested in working with them...
That´s at least the impression I often got.
Which of course doesn´t mean that it´s impossible. Sometimes it might all be about being persevering.

I mean...you can make the money with that and do music just for the fun, without the pressure of having to deliver stuff then. Photography after all should be more fun than other stuff.

I think we once wrote a bit in German and judging from that, it wasn´t that weak?
I mean if there are still problems in spoken German...those can be solved,as long as the grammar and stuff work. So I´m sure you´ll be able to improve it!

Ja, mein Deutsch ist nicht ZU schwach, aber das ist gar nicht gut wenn ich etwas sagen versuche. Auf jeden Fall spreche ich nicht gut genug, um ein gutes Job zu finden

Stimmt, B1/B2 Kurse sind eher für die Kommunikation, das klappt auf jeden Fall!
