You know...I'm not much of a SonAmy fan anymore, a long time ago I converted to SonAlly. But this...well...it just so damn...CUTE...ARGH! And for the most part the SonAmy was played in a way I think it should have been handled in the games, maturely. No glomping, no chasing, no KYAAH!ing, no out of the blue proposals, and no over the top fangirling!
Yes, that is part of Amy's character but what I meant was she should actually get to know the man...male behind the hero title instead just chasing after him because he saves her a lot like she typically does.

The chasing and blah blah is part of the Japanese culture. Since Sonic was created originally in Japan. In japan it's natural for a girl to chase a guy.. xD So yeah. That's why Amy chases Sonic all the time.

Really? Because I don't see in a lot of live action japanese movies, I don't see that in any of Miyazaki's anime movies, and I don't see that in a lot of anime and japanese games.
Sure some girls in anime and J-games do but most of them are stereotype fangirl. I mean just look at Amy and Sakura from Naruto they are almost interchangeable.
The act (or at least Sakura before Shippuden) almost exactly the same, the only difference is species and Sakura is way more violent...and a competent individual.
When I think about it, almost all of these characters act like near carbon copies of each other, with only slight differences in personalities, a lot of them even have pink hair!
