Her name is Reine, which means Queen. She never speaks. She never smiles.She stayed an hour on my knees.
I never got why she looked so sad.

This picture is very beautiful.
I love the colors and the composition.
In fact, I would like to ask your permission to use your photograph as reference for a painting I'm doing. You see, I'm part of an newfound organization called A Smile for a Child. We've collected books, clothes, and canned food last year and the leader went back home to Sierra Leone and distributed them for the children. We've raised enough money to send over 500 children to school.
This year, the leader will be having a dinner, showing a documentary about his trip and having fund raisers. I was chosen to contribute artwork for auctioning, and as I've said, I'd like to use your photo as reference. The money, of course, will be going to the children.

tu vois, j'ai lu plusieurs commentaires que tu as eu sur cette photo, et moi je vois plutΓ΄t un peu l'intrique dans ses yeux. Elle a probablement la vie difficile la pauvre, mais en mΓͺme temps ses yeux sont tellement merveilleux... Tu vois, elle ne sourit pas, mais sais-tu vraiment la regarder? On dirait qu'elle t'exprime plein de reconnaissance sur cette photo.. ses yeux te parlent. C'est certain qu'il y a un brin de tristesse dans ces yeux, et que ses sourcils et sa bouchent l'expriment aussi... mais ces yeux... ils sont si spΓ©ciaux! Ils laissent voir plein d'amour a donner... peut-Γͺtre qu'elle a peur de s'attacher et de donner cet amour pour ne pas Γͺtre blessΓ©e en le perdant? Je ne sais pas, mais cette photo est magnifique. Et il n'en est rien du cadrage et des couleurs pas beau. Tout est excellent. Tu as un modele parfait, et ton cadrage ne fait que mettre l'emphase sur ces yeux spectaculaires. Quant aux couleurs, elles sont parfaites

hihihi bah merci pour ce commentaire ! ca m'eclaire un peu plus sur le succes d'une photo qui n'etait, alors, qu'un portrait volΓ©... bien sur je ne me peux pas m'empecher de voir les defauts (la teinte trop orange des tons clairs de la peau, le petit triangle de vide en haut a droite, ou meme le fait que je pense que j'aurais du la cadrer de plus loin...), mais au moins maintenant j'arrive aussi a voir pourquoi les gens aime !!
c'est vrai qu'elle a une expression extraordinaire... tres dure a dechiffrer... mais ca.. oui tout le merite revient au 'modele' si l'on peut dire
et bien sur, tu peux la prendre comme reference si tu veux. Juste mets la photo en reference dans la legende, et previens moi, histoire que je vois a quoi ca ressemble ^^
