Last week the weather here in England was astoundingly beautiful, but today it is raining, mind you, with the reservoirs running low and the hot summer last year, we need the rain in the UK. Lovely altar statue, beautifully made, an amazing bit of Pagan art

Today we had sun here and went outside!!! We don't need no rain here anymore. Bah. Thanks for your comment. glad you likes it!

The comment was deserved, it is a beautiful piece of three dimensional art. The weather here's been getting nicer, and I've had the chance to take photographs. I did an out-door ritual today, mind you, it was under an umbrella as I escaped the April Showers. Nicer weather means the rain is less frequent, not that it's actually gone anyway, because this England, and it either doesn't rain enough or rains too much, and never rains just right.

Lol. What was the ritual for?

To ground myself, and re-connect with the Earth and thus the divine. I've been spending a lot of time in cyberspace writing about Paganism, my path in that Pagan river, and my ideas for that Pagan river, and it's about time I do more being Pagan in the physical world.

Iecee In reply to carolin54323 [2006-04-19 18:13:09 +0000 UTC]

Yep grounding is importent I would say one of the most important things and so easily forgotten. What is cyberspace?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

carolin54323 In reply to Iecee [2006-04-20 17:57:45 +0000 UTC]

Cyberspace is the internet, or rather the stuff on the internet, as the internet is the communication network, not the people and the information that are on it.

her face is so serene.. I like the idea how her face reflects in the base rather than facing you. It's be nice on a low table

Iecee In reply to MoZaki [2006-03-21 08:48:29 +0000 UTC]

Thanks. It is (on a low table) but it also looks good when it stands on something higher and looking down at me. But than you can't see the mirror. Ah such a dilemma!

OK, I got it now, so Nimue is which Goddess of spring??

still, brilliant piece of art, question, do you have a clay oven or you just leave them to dry out in the air, coz It'd be a shame if they like melt, and yet I see that it's quite shiney, so is it oven dried?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Iecee In reply to TopIncognito [2006-03-20 14:32:42 +0000 UTC]

No, but I am longing for spring. I started the spring faerie 4 times and it became a monster every time. Guess she doesn't feel like it yet.
No I have a clay oven I fire them at 1000Β°. I didn't glaze it because I hate glazing (read: I am not very good at it) But I waxed it that's why it is shiny
