Random sketch I did a couple days ago when I was rebelling against the 500 projects I have to finish for my AP drawing class... I am drowning in drawing projects. better than drowning in Calculus, I guess?anyway, I wanted to just practice drawing a couple horses because I haven't really been drawing many lately... and this one turned into an actual drawing. well, kinda. I like him, though. He isn't completely accurate according to the reference, but I like to change things up so they're not identical - like his markings, and the positioning of his feet.
yup.
did it with a normal mechanical pencil I found at the bottom of my backpack... took about 30-40 minutes, I think?

WHY ARE YOU SO GOOD AT DRAWING.
I LOVE the detail in the face and hooves. Kinda reminds me of Carmel, but that might just be the fact that he's a pinto as well, haha! Awesome work, I love that he's galloping too! Do you need a portfolio for drawing?

yeah - I need a protfolio for Drawing... and I procrastinating. we have to draw a still life of shoes. wtf. I don't care about drawing shoes. and mr. calabrese is like, "make sure it has a meaning behind it and that it protrays how you feel." I don't care about making deep, moving art... I make what I make because I like it - I don't care what other artists think. I'm not good at artsy deep drawings. I don't care. seriously? I just like drawing horses and dogs and crap. not abstract junk that any four year old could make. gosh.
okay my rant is over. I like traditional drawings that look like the real thing... not contorted wierd picasso crap. sorry. lol
